Overview
Telimatic builds communications software and services for communications providers, including the Telimatic console and the Telzino platform (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites and to the Services we provide to our customers.
We keep this policy in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, contact us — we are happy to explain.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account or sign up for the Services, we collect information such as your name, company, email address, and — if you choose to provide it — a mobile phone number.
Usage information. We collect information about how the Services are used, such as log data, device and browser information, and the actions taken in the console, so we can operate, secure, and improve the Services.
Communications. If you contact us for support or sign up for notifications, we keep a record of that correspondence and the related contact details.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Services, authenticate accounts, process billing, respond to support requests, send service and account communications, secure our systems and prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
SMS / text messaging and consent
If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in, Telimatic sends you account, service, and support text messages — for example onboarding and account notifications, service and outage alerts, billing and renewal reminders, and support follow-ups. Opt-in is collected online during signup in the Telimatic console; providing a number and consent is optional and is not a condition of using the Services or of any purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help; reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, which stops all further messages from the program.
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, mobile opt-in information, or SMS/messaging consent to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose other than delivering the messages you requested; the only parties that receive your mobile number are the messaging providers and mobile carriers that transmit those messages on our behalf. We never buy, sell, or rent SMS opt-in consent.
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above and to operate the text messaging program. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, and you can email us at privacy@telimatic.com with any questions about the text messaging program. Our text messaging program is also governed by our Terms of Service.
How we share information
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example hosting, payment processing, messaging, and analytics providers) under contracts that limit them to that purpose. We may also share information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights and safety of Telimatic and others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These sharing practices do not apply to text messaging opt-in data or SMS consent: that information is shared only with the messaging providers and carriers that deliver your messages, and is never shared, sold, or rented to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward only as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address vulnerabilities promptly.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information at any time, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from non-essential email. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Cookies and analytics
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the sites are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the sites work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
